Teva Diamonds
Natural diamonds, coaxed into color
A Teva diamond is a real diamond, formed in the earth over billions of years, then finished with a treatment that brings its color forward. Not grown in a lab. Not a simulant. A natural stone, honestly described.

The process
What high pressure, high temperature means
The short version: the earth made the diamond, and the treatment finishes what the earth started.
Every natural diamond formed under enormous pressure and heat, deep below the surface, long before anyone was around to look at it. Some come up flawless in color. Many do not. A stone can carry a faint brown or gray cast picked up from the way its crystal lattice happened to grow, and that cast has nothing to do with how well the diamond was cut or how brightly it returns light.
High pressure, high temperature treatment, usually shortened to HPHT, puts the finished diamond back into conditions close to the ones that made it. Pressure in the tens of thousands of atmospheres. Temperatures in the range of two thousand degrees Celsius. Under those conditions the lattice relaxes and rearranges, and the color that was holding the stone back either lifts away or deepens into something you would actually choose.
Nothing is added. Nothing is coated. No dye, no filler, no film that can wear through at the girdle in ten years. The carbon that comes out of the press is the same carbon that went in, which is why the treatment is considered permanent under any normal condition a piece of jewelry will meet.
We are not here to talk you into one kind of diamond. We are here to make sure you know exactly what you are holding.

Three honest ways to buy a diamond
We carry all three, and we are not going to push you toward one of them. Here is the plain difference.

Path one
Natural, untreated
Mined, cut, and sold exactly as it came out of the ground. The color grade on the report is the color the earth gave it. This is the traditional path, and it holds the traditional place in the market.
Path two
Teva, color enhanced
Mined and cut the same way, then treated to bring the color forward. Still a natural diamond. The treatment is noted on the GIA report and we will tell you about it before you ever ask.

Path three
Lab grown
Grown in a controlled environment rather than mined, with the same crystal structure and the same hardness. A different origin story at a different price, and a real answer for a lot of shoppers.
Our promise
Why we say all of this out loud
A treated diamond is a good buy when you know it is treated, and a bad one when you find out later. That is the whole of it. Every Teva stone we sell arrives with a GIA report that names the treatment, we repeat it at the counter, and we write it on your paperwork so it travels with the piece.
If you ever bring the ring back for sizing, a retip, or a stone check, tell whoever is at the bench that the center is a treated diamond. We will already have it on file, and any jeweler worth trusting will want to know before heat comes anywhere near it.

Come look at a few side by side
Forty five years of doing this has taught us that nobody decides between a natural, a treated, and a lab grown diamond from a web page. They decide at the counter with all three in front of them. Set aside twenty minutes and we will walk you through it, with no pressure in either direction.
